Business Management Associate

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct assistance to the Executive Director in managing daily
    operations, strategic initiatives, and decision-making processes
  • Develop and execute strategies that enhance Tech4Dev’s visibility, reach,
    and long-term impact by building and maintaining high-value
    relationships with corporate, government, and foundation partners.
  • Lead the identification and securing of diverse funding sources, including
    government grants, private foundations, corporate sponsors, and
    individual donors.
  • Develop and submit competitive grant proposals and
    funding applications that align with Tech4Dev's mission and strategic
    priorities, ensuring timely follow-up and cultivation of relationships with
    funders to secure ongoing financial support.
  • Design and implement new programmatic opportunities that align with
    Tech4Dev’s goals by managing the development of pilot programs and
    initiatives, ensuring they are feasible, scalable, and impactful.
  • Oversee the coordination and execution of complex projects and
    programs from inception to completion by defining project scope,
    setting timelines, managing budgets, and ensuring alignment with
    Tech4Dev’s strategic objectives.
  • Act as the key liaison between the ED, internal teams, and external
    stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and ensure the successful, timely
    delivery of projects.
  • Ensure there are no calendar conflicts by managing conflicting demands
    to optimize the Executive Director's time efficiency.
  • Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, market conditions, and
    competitive landscapes to provide insights and recommendations for
    strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones,
    and provide regular updates to the ED and relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion,
    especially regarding matters impacting the organization's operations and
    strategic plans.
  • Develop and execute personal content strategies for the executive
    leadership, tailored to their individual voice, areas of expertise, and
    audience.

• Plan, draft, and schedule posts (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, and other
relevant platforms) that reflect each leader's perspectives on industry
trends, organizational milestones, public engagements, and thought
leadership topics.
• Repurpose speeches, panel appearances, interviews, articles, and event
participation into engaging social content (carousels, video snippets,
quote graphics, threads, etc.).
• Track engagement metrics and provide regular reports with insights and
recommendations for growth.
• Support preparation of talking points, captions, or social-ready summaries
ahead of major events, interviews, or publications.

Qualifications, Competency & Skills Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar role, preferably supporting executive-level management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related

field.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to
    prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
    convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling
    confidential and sensitive information.
  • Advanced proficiency in productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office suite,
    calendar management software, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to
    gather, interpret, and present data.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented
    environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks
    simultaneously.
