One of the significant advantages of Tech is its versatility. When people hear Tech, they assume it's all about coding, and it's not so. Tech has so much more to offer than coding. There are various career opportunities in Tech that do not require coding at all, and this versatility is why there are so many career opportunities in Tech. One of these career opportunities is Product Design.

As a career path, Product design is important because there are always better ways to do things and better products to build, and it is one way to ensure that in the bid to do better, businesses are doing what their consumers need or want to see.

Another importance is that good product design makes the users' experience satisfying. In addition to using a product repeatedly, satisfied customers go ahead to recommend the product often

Also, product design help businesses stay on top of their game by constantly connecting the products.

If you are looking to go into Tech, here are some reasons why you should consider Product design as one of your options.

  1. It is a profitable venture: Now, the answer to "where is the money?" is Tech. This is because the world is fast becoming a digital world. There is almost nothing that is not digitalized in our world today. Hence, the high demand for Tech skills translates to more money.

    However, I should add that while Product Design, like many other Tech careers, is a profitable venture, entry-level roles might not pay as much but, it gets better as you grow.

It's in demand: If product design were clothing apparel, it would be a fashion statement (Okay, now, I am doing too much) but, product design is in high demand, and this is so because of two reasons. One, the various career opportunities available in product design, and two, because products that appeal to the consumer rule the market, every business looking to make a profit, needs a product designer.

  3. There is plenty of room for growth: In Product Design, there is plenty of room for growth because of the constantly changing nature of the product market and the user's needs.

  4. You have options: There are various career paths in product design, so you have options. Product design is quite a flexible career path to follow, interesting too.

  4. UI Designer: A UI designer is the one that designs how the user's experience would be. The UI designer designs the user interface, whether an app or a website. The user interface, put simply, is the point where the user interacts with the product.

  5. UI Writer: After or while the UI Designer designs, the UI writer comes in with content for the product. The role of a UI writer is essential because it helps the user navigate the product and makes the whole user experience pleasant.
