Codepreneur was initiated to ensure that young individuals with coding experience have the needed skills to become gainfully employed and fulfilled. The program targeted at up skilling young individuals in Nigeria and beyond with technological and entrepreneurial skills.

Codeprenuer created various multi-level businesses that use the technologies learned in line with Microsoft’s cloud strategy and has ultimately created a year on year business opportunity for partners. Beneficiaries also worked on various start-up ideas in teams that were demoed on completion of the accelerator program for interested investors and stakeholders.

1152 youths were trained in 2015 in Kontagora (Niger State) and Kano (Kano State), Nigeria.

Funding partners were Microsoft, The Future Project, Aiki and Ondo State Government.

OBJECTIVES

  • Ensuring that youths who have passion for technology can access quality training and professional development within designated hubs within their geographical region
