Since its existence, Microsoft has partnered with many organisations to achieve technological advancements in different parts of the world, especially in Africa. As of April 1, 2021, Microsoft Corporation disclosed that through its Global Skilling Initiative (GSI), it has helped over 30 million people in 249 countries and territories gain access to digital skills, topping its initial goal of 25 million last June.
